This summer in June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage in any of the 50 states of USA. This day is important because gay people have been fighting against the prejudice towards them. This day changes many lives of people and give to people of now and the future opportunities that people of the past couldn’t have.

I felt indifferent about that day. I don’t mean it in a bad way. It’s just that I didn’t get excited or have an urge to go partying and celebrate nor did I get mad or anything. This impacts my life and because it’s shows me that anything you fight for is possible and just keep striving for it no matter how many people are against it.
